What does your
EYE PATTERN
tell us about your Seasonal Colours?

Eye pattern analysis is another method that can be used to determine your seasonal colors. This method takes into account the unique characteristics of your eyes, which can help guide you through your color analysis. Unlike hair and skin colors, which can be affected by various factors such as age, makeup, lighting, and health, eye patterns tend to be more consistent and stable over time.

SPRING EYE PATTERNS

* Bright, clear and warm colours; most common colours are light brown, green and hazel.
* High contrast between colour and the whites of the eyes.
* There is a starburst/sunburst design with a golden or white ring surrounding the pupil. The starburst would be yellow or white, depending on the colour of the eye.
* May have flecks and orange/brown dots called jewels
* A circular doughnut shape like structure called  a Halo may exist around the pupil (Halo may occur with freckles if you have only a halo and cool skin undertone, then you may check with summer credentials)

If a Warm undertone is dominant, your eye pattern may contain both a halo and speckles. If your dominant characteristic is Light, your eye pattern can have a halo and cloudiness. If your Bright features are dominant, your eye pattern can contain both spokes/streams and a halo.

AUTUMN EYE PATTERNS

* Rich, warm, woodsy colours such as brown, green and hazel.
* Soft swirling, erratic borders around the pupil.
* Shaker patterns with freckles, speckles, dots and petals.
* May have a starburst surrounding the pupil.
* Some autumn eyes have a pure opaque look with dark colour eyes.

If your Deep colouring is dominant, your eye pattern can contain spokes and speckles. If your colouring is on the Muted side, your eye pattern can have both cloudiness and speckles. If your Warm undertone is dominant, your eye pattern may contain both a halo and speckles.

WINTER EYE PATTERNS

* Cool, deep, icy colours with blue undertones such as gray, blue and brown.
* Lines in the eye running from the pupil (spokes) through the outside of the eye.
* Concentric bands look like wheel rims circling in the iris (melanin layers)
* White and uniform fibres radiating from the pupil (stream).
* A border defining the iris.
* May have dark spots or strong petals.
* High contrast between the iris and the whites of the eyes.

If your Cool undertones are dominant, your eye pattern can contain spokes and cloudiness. If your Deep colouring is dominant, your eye pattern can have spokes and speckles. If your dominant characteristic is Bright, your eye pattern can contain spokes and a halo.

SUMMER EYE PATTERNS

* Cool, soft, muted, grayish colours with blue undertones.
* Cloudy, smoky look or texture of crackled glass pattern in the iris.
* There is a soft separation between the iris and the whites of the eye.
* The flowering structure with soft petals, crypts
* White fibres radiating from the pupil look like an unorganized white webbing look

Light season a person's eye pattern can contain both a halo and cloudiness. If your colouring is on the Muted side, your eye pattern can have both cloudiness and speckles. If your Cool undertones are dominant, your eye pattern can contain spokes and cloudiness.

NEUTRAL

If your eye has cool and warm pattern elements, you may have a Neutral undertone with your features. There are three categories of Neutral: Full Neutral, Neutral-Warm and Neutral Cool.
