22-Sequins & Brocade & Opulent Finishes

This season’s take on opulence came in the form of shimmering sequins, intricate brocade, and metallic details.

Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Akris, Burberry, Probal Gurung, Frederick Andersen, Bottega Veneta and Schiaparelli turned up the glam with shimmering fabrics, ensuring that the eveningwear for 2025 is nothing short of dazzling. Luisa Spagnoli and Armani chose the colorful shiny textures.

Erdem and Rabanne experimented with foil textures, while Saint Laurent layered shimmering brocade and lace, showcasing broad-shouldered jackets, fluttery diaphanous blouses, and narrow, short, ruffled skirts for multidimensional looks.

23-Embroidery _Embellished Textures and Details

Luxurious embellishments dominated the runways, with beaded and embroidered designs from Balmain and Rabanne and intricate chains at Alexander McQueen. These ornamental details elevate garments and transform simple silhouettes into statement pieces.

Eveningwear sparkled with sequin embellishments from Emporio Armani, Valentino and Elie Saab. Erdem showcased shimmering crystal details.

Graphic sequined embroideries appeared at Miu Miu, while metallic accents adorned at Prada and Louis Vuitton collections.

Florals returned with bold updates, featuring oversized blooms and intricate embroideries from Carolina Herrera, Marni, Dolce & Gabbana, Giambattista Valli, Issey Miyake, Loewe, Miu Miu and Michael Kors.

3D rosette appliqués showcased by Simkhai, Jil Sander, Cecilie Bahnsen, and Zomer. Abstract interpretations also took center stage from Versace, Erdem, Frederick Anderson, and Etro, along with semi-sheer, chintzy floral prints on voluminous gowns, with Chloé.
