TRUE AUTUMN COLOUR GUIDE
TRUE AUTUMNs overall appearance is warm and muted. Your skin, eye and hair colours are all warm with rich golden undertones. All colours in your features are blended to each other, but your skin appears lighter than your hair and eyes which creates low to medium contrast. Your skin is yellow golden and may have freckles.Your eyes are generally brown, green or hazel. Your hair has golden and red tones such as copper, auburn and golden brown.
Technically you can create colour combinations by mixing and matching colours in your colour palette. You can combine your accent colours with your basic colours or with your dark or light neutral colours.
TRUE AUTUMN has typical rich and yellow based autumn colours, it is the warmest of all Autumn colour palettes. Golden greens, oranges, warm reds and yellows are creating colouful appearance. They are not as bright or light as Spring colours but they are rich and vibrant. They are medium dark, soft and muted but less muted than Summer palettes.
Since there is low to medium contrast between your features, its better to choose monochromatic and analogous combination types, which means same colour with different shades or colours with similar undertones that are close to each other on the colour wheel.
Black and white are not in your colour palette because they have cool undertones, also they are either too light or dark for you. But you have different options such as brown and beige tones in your colour palette.
Since your natural look has low to medium contrast, your patterns should reflect the same. Best to choose the same colours in your palette for your patterns and prints. Small to medium scale and light colour patterns such as earthy elements, flowers, wood shapes, leaves would be nice options for your natural look. Avoid too small or dense and sharp geometric patters.
