SOFT SUMMERS

COMPARISON
Soft Summer sits between True Summer and Soft Autumn on the seasonal flow chart. Soft Summer colours are the softest, and most gentle in summer family. They are also darker and less cool than other Summer Seasons
Neighboring the Soft Autumn according to flow theory makes the Soft Summer palette warmer and darker than other Summers and adds a brownish element to the colours.

Both Soft Summers and Soft Autumns have muted appearance and have low contrast in their features. They have similar, gentle, soft and medium value colours in their palette.
However Soft Summers have cool (blue, gray) undertones whereas Soft Autumns have warm (golden, honey) undertones.

CLOTHING COMBINATIONS
Technically you can create colour combinations by mixing and matching colours in your colour palette. You can combine your accent colours with your basic colours or with your dark or light neutral colours.

SOFT SUMMERs have soft, muted, medium value colours with coolish undertones in their palette. Most of the colours are greys&blue based colours with a heavy focus on pinks and purples.
Since you have low to medium contrast in your features, we recommend you to choose monochromatic or analogous combinations, which means, combining the different shades of the same colour (such as light blue and dark blue) or combining neighboring colours (lilac or lavender with blue or light green).
You can also combine same value colours (such as light neutral and light accent) in order to keep the level of your contrast. Monochromatic combinations with pastel colours fit you the best.
Avoid clear and bright colours and high contrast and bold combinations (complementary, triadic or tetradic) , otherwise you look washed out behind your outfit. Black is not in your palette, cause its too dark for you. Try deep gray and cool brown shades instead of black. White is also too bright for you, you can choose other light neutrals in your colour palette for your combinations.
PATTERNS&PRINTS
Since your natural look has low to medium contrast, your patterns should reflect the same. Your colour palette has medium value colours meaning neither dark or light. Best to choose the same colours in your palette for your patterns and prints.
Small to medium scale, loosely arranged and light colour patterns such as flowers, water colour designs, delicate shapes would be nice options for your natural look. Avoid too dense, big or sharp shapes and geometric patterns.
